Unintentional high data costs - Help requested by international student?

Hello, Simyo team,

I'm currently an international student studying in the Netherlands. I recently checked my December 2025 bill, and I was shocked to see that my data usage was over 100 euros.

In the Netherlands, I'm still used to mobile systems, so I didn't know that data wouldn't stop automatically after the bundle was completed. I've never experienced anything like this before. As a student with a very limited budget, paying this amount is a huge financial burden for me.

I've already activated 'DataFlafond' in today's setup to take immediate action to prevent this from happening again. I think it's probably caused an accident by mistaking it for USIM in my country.

Can we consider a one-time clemency gesture or recalculate the charge based on the data bundle price? Any help to resolve this situation would be greatly appreciated.

I understand that this is frustrating and not something you were expecting. It’s good to see that you have now set up a Dataplafond. This will help prevent high costs in the future.
