At the moment, we noticed more customers are facing the same problems with the hotspot, especially when using the iPhone SE 2020. This is currently being investigated by our Network Specialists. Unfortunately, there is no definitive solution at the moment, but I can assure you that we are working on it. Our apologies for the inconvenience! Could you let me know which phone you're using? This will help us better understand whether the issue is specific to a particular device.
In the meantime, I’d like to check if I can assist you in another way. Have you tried resetting the hotspot on your laptop? Is your VPN turned on?
Additionally, you could try the following APN settings:
- Connection name: Simyo Mobiel internet
- APN: portalmmm.nl
- Username: (leave empty)
- Password: (leave empty)
- Proxy: (leave empty)
- Port: 5080
- MCC: 204
- MNC: 08
- Authentication type: PAP
- APN type: default (or internet)
