My phone only takes esim, but the app will not take it?

It would help to mention what the manufacturer and model of "your phone” are. Without it, it would be pretty hard to assist. I have not heard of an phone without any Simcard yet to be honest.

Only the US-models. In the US the adoption of eSim is better than here. That’s also likely why I did not notice that model.
