Why don't I have reception in Germany?

Thanks for your message. I am sorry to hear you have no reception abroad. There is a few things you can do to get this to work.

First you will need to switch on both the ‘Internet op je mobiel – buitenland’ and the ‘Internet op je mobiel – Nederland’ option on Mijn Simyo. If you plan on using internet make sure that ‘data roaming’ is switched on on your device (if you do not have Sim Only or a internet bundle i suggest you keep data roaming off). It might also be necessary to change some settings in your phone manually. You can find the right settings in our Toestelhulp. There, you can select your phone. When you've selected your phone, you select 'handmatig instellen' under the category Internet. At last you can manually select a network on this page you can find a step by step instruction on how to do that for iOS aswell as Android.
