Why can't i receive sms outside Netherlands?

At present I am not in NL (outside the European zone). I would like to receive SMS, I tried all the possible options in the settings (restarted so many times but no luck). I have a signal but I can't revive. I read a re other users resetting And they get the SMS. Please help. Thank you

I see that you also have contract trough our customer service on Whatsapp. I would like to advice you to take contact trough one channel to avoid miscommunication. 

Please let me know if you need any help after the conversation on Whatsapp.
