No internet in Germany?

Hi,

Traveling in Germany. Roaming works for calls but not for internet. Things I tried:

-Restarting the phone.

-Checking the phone roaming config (is enable).

-Check the config in Mijn Simyo. Both calls and internet enable.

-I still have plenty of Mbs.

-Tried to manually select a different provider. Login attempts failed with all except the default (Telekom.de).

 

Other considerations:

- My android only supports up to 4G.

- I use an eSIM.

Thanks for your question. Sorry to hear that you're unable to get a connection. I'd be happy to help you find a solution, but I’ll need a bit more information first. For example:

  • What device are you using?
  • Are you able to make calls?
  • Have you tried reinstalling your eSIM?

In the meantime, I’d like to ask you to review the following three pages: Mobiel internet in het buitenland instellenHandmatig mobiel internet instellen and Netwerk handmatig selecteren. It would be helpful if you could double-check that all your settings are correct, especially the APN settings!

I’ve also gone ahead and reset your SIM card. Please turn off your phone for about 10 minutes. After that, it should work again. If it doesn’t, just let me know and we’ll continue looking for a solution together.
