Hello,

I use a normal sim card.

I have issues receiving text messages from foreign countries outside of European Union, especially third party OTP.

I cannot receive an OTP from services such as my Singaporean bank account. The previous topic was not solved, and this is problematic for me to access to some of these important services.

The text messages are not classified as spam, I just don’t received anything.

Could you help me solve this issue?

Thank you for your message. I'm sorry to read that you can not receive these text messages! As my colleague did for the other customer i also put a reset on your simcard. Can you turn off the phone and try if it works after this?

Unfortunately, the reset did not solve the problem.
I tried to retrieve an OTP for the non-EU country and unfortunately it did not work.
If this can help, depending on the platform used to send this OTP (website vs mobile app), I will receive (website) or not (mobile app) an OTP.
So I believe it might be a different provider being used, but not a clue why in one case it would work, and not in another case.

What is the next step?

Thank you for your reply. I just contacted our Network Specialist and they indicate that this happens more often in Romanian banks. It is quite possible that they have something blocked that prevents you from receiving a text message from them. I would advise you to contact them about this to find out. Hopefully they can solve this for you!
