Hi, I’m a new customer (1.5 months now). I have done everything correctly, I think (activation of the Simyo SIM card, PIN, subscription, etc.). Is it normal that every time I restart my phone, a PIN is required?

Hi @DavidKrm,

Thank you for your question. First of all, thank you for choosing Simyo. Welcome!🎉

You did everything right, like @JanD said in his message (bedankt!). It is common to enter your PIN every time you restart your phone. This is a security measure to prevent others from accessing your SIM card without your permission.

If you prefer not to enter your PIN every time you restart your phone, you can disable this option in your phone settings. If you want to, I can help you with that! Just let me know which phone and model you have. Please keep in mind that your SIM card will no longer be protected if someone steals your phone. For your information, you can always find your PIN and PUK code in Mijn Simyo > Instellingen > Simkaart.

If you have any other question, please let me know!

Greeting,
Khadija

Dear @DavidKrm , that is normal. The phone may ask for a PIN code and/or the SIM card may ask for a PIN code; this is all to prevent misuse.

You can disable one or both PIN codes or choose another verification method within your mobile device.

Good luck.
