Hi there, I'm on holiday in Austria and my mobile data isn't working even though in my settings on my Simyo app I can see that it should be active even outside of the Netherlands. I've tried restarting my phone and manually switching my mobile data on and off but that didn't help. Can you help me fix it? Many thanks!

How unfortunate that you can't use mobile data in Austria right now. I'll give your sim card a reset, hopefully that will be sufficient! Can you switch your phone off for 15 minutes and then turn it back on? 

Just in case that doesn't work, please check your mobile data settings as well. What type of phone do you have? iPhones for instance sometimes need to manually have their APN updated under Settings > Mobile Data > Mobile Data Network. Add the following: 

  • Name: internet
  • Username: KPN
  • Password: gprs
