My internet isn't working properly, what now?

I have noticed that my data never goes more than 2 bars and this has been happening for months now. Is this a Simyo issue? I am considering changing providers

Pending a moderator’s response, it would be helpful to know whether you experience this issue in one location or everywhere, which telephone you have (is it a rather old one?) and what the signal strength is like when you place the sim card in another phone.

Before I can help you further, I need some more information about this as ​@Scotsman also stated (thank you for your help!).

Do you seem to have this problem everywhere or just on one location? I would also like to know which phone you have and whether you have the same problem when you put your sim card in another phone.
