Hi there,



First apologize about using English, as my Dutch is still quite poor. 



I just discovered some very strange data traffic on my account, which are quite exceptional and suspicious based on my past record and completely normal usage on that day (2014-05-16).

I did not have new OS or app installed around that moment, and I was at home with wifi during that period in time. In fact, the phone was not touched that day until amost 9 that morning.



I've had Simyo subscription for about half a year now, and always the "50% internetbundel verbruikt" email arrives only until around 25th of the month. Since I always use the few apps on my phone, it is quite unbelievable / uncomprehensivable on my side how these 4 x 60MB data got used.



I have switched off my cellular data option on my phone 4 hours ago, and since then I have been reading on the internet  and this forum about similar issues. There are quite some Simyo users that are suffering or have suffered from the same problem with the same pattern. Some of them even got data usage counters increased when the cellular data option is switch off, or when the phone is in Flightmode. I have to say such stories really worry me -- I'm afraid I'll also get similar outcome, as there seems to be no proper explanations for those phenomenon based on replies from Simyo, but only luck...



So, I'm kindly asking Simyo to double check my record and data counter, and possibly provide me a proper explanation for this problem, as this subscription would be pretty much un-usable if such "surprises" may pop up from now and then just depending on my luck.

I see you've already had contact with the customer service on the phone. I would still like to give you the answers to your questions.



The 60001 and 60002 kB packages are the biggest packages we can process. This data was used and registered by the simcard. If your not sure how this data was used, it was probably done by your phone. Check your (internet) settings so your phone does not use any data when you do not want it to. If you can, read this blog (in Dutch). It's all about saving your data bundle form unwanted usage by your phone.
