Data usage

I have simyo plan 11 euros for 15 gb. The problem is that tha data is usage a lot of like in 7 days 7.5 gb used. I am not using a lot but it's happening.

Hello Khadija,

Thank you for your reply. I usually use Wi-Fi most of the time and only use mobile data when I am outside or when Wi-Fi is not available. I have not recently installed any new apps or made major changes to my phone settings.

I checked my phone settings, and I will monitor which apps are consuming the most mobile data. However, the usage still seems unusually high because I normally do not use mobile data that much.

Could you please check if there is anything unusual from your side regarding my data usage?

Thank you for your reply. Even when your phone is connected to Wi-Fi, it is possible that your device still uses mobile data in certain situations. Some phones automatically switch to mobile data when the Wi-Fi connection is weak or unstable, because the device chooses the strongest connection available. To make sure your mobile data is not being used, you can turn off mobile data in your My Simyo account when you are connected to Wi-Fi.

It’s good that you checked which apps are using mobile data. This can help identify whether a specific app is responsible for the usage. If the usage still seems unusually high after monitoring this, I can take a closer look with you.

Do you have an Android or iOS phone? Take a control If WiFi assistent is turned of. And when possible at data usage in phone settings if data reduction is turned on.
