I put a hotspot for my wife who is pregnant and had a long day after we moved into a new apartment to watch something and relax this evening and left my phone while I unpacked our boxes. 
 

when I look at my phone later in the evening I see a text from Simyo saying my phone has been cut off due to a high bill. 
 

when I check my bill it’s 300 euros for the month! I normally pay 11 euros a month! 

I never agreed to paying 15 cents per mb after my data ran out - and the data ran out much quicker than expected so I didn’t have a chance to cut it off. 
 

Please help, this is a bill for multiple years of phone usage.  I have been a loyal customer of Simyo for almost 13 years!

Thankyou for your message. Congratulations with the pregnancy! Hopefully everything goes well.

I understand that you are a bit shocked by the high costs. To avoid high costs outside the bundle, we always send two warning text messages. These messages come from the number 1200 and are always leading because they are sent directly from the network. Have you seen these warnings? If you don't turn off the internet or buy extra MB's you will pay outside the bundle costs from €0,15 per MB. Since this year we have a new option to stop the data when the internetbundle is fully used. On this page you can find more information about this option.
