Can I get SMS in UK with prepaid ?

Hello. I'm a Simyo prepaid user.
I'm going to stay in UK for a couple of months.
During my stay, can I get SMS from the Netherlands?
Sometimes I need ING internet banking.

One more question...
How long my number will last without a credit?

Thank you for the answer in advance.

Yes you can get sms from the netherlands. Go to this page and turn the switch on at bellen in en naar het buitenland .
At your phone at settings turn on (data)roaming.

To keep your number you have to make every 6 months a call, sms, use data or buy a databundle. So how much amount is needed you can decide for yourself. :)

As a prepaid customer, you can receive (and send) text messages if the option 'Bellen in en naar het buitenland' is switched on. You can find this option in 'Mijn Simyo >Instellingen >Netwerkinstellingen".

Before you go to the U.K. I would like to advise you to take a look at our 'Tarievenpagina'.

To keep your number activated, you have to use your simcard once every six months. You can do this by calling, texting or using mobile internet.
