I have just transfered over from Vodafone.  I have set up the new settings for the voicemail, but it begins if  the phone is not answered within 18 seconds.  How can I make this time before the voicemail starts longer?

I'm afraid that's not possible. The time it takes to switch to voicemail is set on the network. At the KPN network, which we use, the standard time to divert your calls to voicemail is 15-20 seconds.

so either live with a short timing of the voicemail OR turn the voicemail off!
