Hello,

I'm moving to Slovakia and I wonder whether I can keep my number and start a new contract with a slovakian mobile provider.

I will wait for your answer.

Thank you very much!

Kind regards,

Constanza.
That would be great wouldn't it, moving to another country and keepng your number! Unfortunately this isn't possible, mobile numbers in different countries are allocated independently, and also according to different numbering schemes. For example, in the Netherlands mobile numbers start with 06 whereas my number here in the UK starts with 07. In Slovakia mobile numbers start with 09 so far as I know.
Hoi Constanza Puente,

Welcome to the Simyo Forum!

As Scotsman just pointed out, it's not possible to transfer your Dutch number to a foreign provider (or vice versa). Each country has its own set of phone numbers, and it's impssible to transfer one coutnry's phone number to another.

I'm afraid that if you want a Slovakian number, you'll have to open up a new account and get a new number.

Do you have any other questions?

Best regards,

Jihane
