Why is my SIM not supported by iphone?

i switched my sim over to an iphone6. the phone says the sim is not supported under the activation policy that is currently assigned by the activation server. i am requesting that the iphone is unlocked by simyo so i can use it.

Hi,

Looks like a sort of sim / carrierlock. That means the carrier wich the phone original came by can unluck it. Simyo can't provide you with that because they don't sell phones.

This problem looks like a simlock on your phone, I think you can only use a specific brand of SIM card in this device. Have you already contacted Apple?
