Phone subscription without Dutch ID, can I still place an order?

Hey!

I already have a subscription simonly with you. I would like to switch to telefoon met abonnement, but when im trying to order the only possible way of identifiation is a Dutch document, which I don't own as a foreigner. Is there a way to take out a subscription with a phone without a Dutch ID, but with a BSN?

Is there absolutely no way to avoid this? Even if the sum for the phone would be completely paid upfront?

Hi @domsit,

Thank you for your message. Nice that you’re interested in a new phone! I checked this for you with our telephone shop department and I was told that you can only order a device from us with Dutch documents. I'm sorry I don't have better news for you 🙁.

Not really. The closest thing I’d have is my certificate of enrolment, but it doesn’t contain my BSN i think. I’m a EU student here.

Do you have anything that identifies you and contains your BSN, like something from the IND (Immigration Service)?
